The programme teaches some simple tools of mediation. It is based on the assumption that the participants have no prior mediation training and no professional interest in mediation.

The Manager as Mediator programme is designed to give managers some tools for handling organisational conflict. It then shows the managers how to combine these tools with the fundamental managerial skills that they already possess, in the process of dealing with everyday workplace conflict such as personality clashes and miss-communications.

This programme is:

  • A way to help employees work together - when performance problems are relational, not individual
